Co-sponsored by China Shanghai International Arts Festival Center and Shanghai West Bund Development (Group) Co. Ltd., this performance is the first time that Shen Wei has presented his "Total Art" type of work in mainland China. This multi media performance includes painting, photography, text, objects, images, sound, installation, and dance, bringing audiences an unprecedented feast for the senses. The work was created by Shen Wei alone in Hainan for 5 months, then polished and synthesized together with the production team in Shanghai in 2021. Considered a unique educational opportunity, dancers from all parts of China were asked to perform and synthesize the new work. 37 dancers from the hit TV show "Dance Storm", the Guangdong Modern Dance Company and Xie Xin Dance Theater trained with Shen Wei, Kate Jewett and Chelsea Retzloff in Shanghai preceding the performances in June of 2021.
